§ 73.56 HANDICAPPED PARKING.
   (A)   This section applies to all areas of the town where handicapped parking spaces have been marked and designated to assist access to retail shopping and public gathering places (i.e., library, schools).
   (B)   Parking shall be prohibited in parking spaces designated and clearly marked for handicapped persons unless the individual falls under the definition of handicapped as contained in division (C) below.
   (C)   A person is HANDICAPPED within the definition of this section if he or she is an individual of any age who:
      (1)   Has a temporary or permanent physical disability that requires the use of a wheelchair, walker, braces or crutches;
      (2)   Has temporary or permanent loss of the use of one or both legs; and/or
      (3)   Is certified by a physician having an unlimited license to practice medicine in the state to be severely restricted in mobility, either temporarily or permanently, by a pulmonary or cardiovascular disability, arthritic condition or orthopedic or neurological impairment.
