(A) General. The Town Fire Department shall have the right to enter any building or premises without permission or warrant in the event of any emergency situation constituting a threat to human life, property or the public safety for the purpose of eliminating, controlling or abating the dangerous condition or situation.
(B) Liability. At no time will the town, the Town Fire Department or any of its agents be responsible for any damages as a result of an emergency entry. The Town Fire Department or the Fire Department dispatch center will notify the owner/occupant of the event and it will be the responsibility of the owner/occupant to assure that the building is re-secured.
