(A) The Fire Marshal and/or his or her designee is authorized to require the installation and maintenance of gates or other approved barricades across Fire Department access roads, trails or other access-ways, not including public streets, alleys or highways.
(B) When a gated entrance is proposed on any project, commercial or residential, the access drive and radiuses shall be reviewed and shall meet the requirements of this chapter.
(C) When a traffic-control device such as, but not limited to, gates, islands or curbing, is proposed to be installed in a new or existing development, the Fire Chief, the Fire Marshal and/or his or her designee(s) shall review the plans to assure that fire apparatus access will not be obstructed.
