(A) The Fire Marshal or his or her designee shall review the system plans and process the application within 15 through 20 days of receiving a completed permit application and all applicable fees.
(B) A fire protection permit issued pursuant to this subchapter shall not be transferable, and any change in use or occupancy prior to the acceptance test shall require a new permit.
(C) A fire protection permit may be issued for individual portions of a structure based on need and items submitted to the Fire Marshal. Examples:
(1) New construction on a structure requiring a sprinkler system, fire alarm system and a kitchen hood suppression system;
(2) Items for construction may not be submitted at the same time. Fire protection permits may be granted for the sprinkler systems without the attachment of the fire alarm system and a kitchen hood suppression system; and
(3) Applicable fees would apply, but work may only be done on the area with the issued permit.
