§ 70.99 PENALTY.
   (A)   Until July 1, 1986, the violation of any provision of this code, or of any provisions of any restriction imposed by any proclamation authorized by this code, shall constitute a misdemeanor, punishable upon conviction by a fine not exceeding $50 or imprisonment not exceeding 30 days.
   (B)   Effective July 1, 1986, the violation of any provision of this code, or of any provision of any restriction imposed by any proclamation authorized by this code (except as provided in division (C)) shall constitute a misdemeanor and shall be punishable upon conviction by a fine not exceeding $50 or imprisonment for not more than 30 days.
   (C)   Effective July 1, 1986, the violation of any provision of this code or any provision of any restriction imposed by any proclamation authorized by this code regulating the operation or parking of vehicles, shall constitute an infraction punishable upon conviction by a penalty of not more than $50.
