539.05 ENFORCEMENT.
   The Fair Housing Administrator shall have the duty of investigating any complaints that are in violation of this chapter within ninety (90) days of the alleged discriminatory practice.
Any person aggrieved by a violation of one or more of the discriminatory practices set forth in Section 539.03 may file a complaint with the Ohio Civil Rights Commission in accordance with Chapter 4112 of the Ohio Revised Code, or an affidavit with the Municipal Court of the City of Zanesville, Ohio. It shall be the duty of the office of the City Law Director to assist all persons alleging to have been aggrieved by a violation of one or more of the discriminatory practices set forth in Section 539.03, in the filing of a complaint with the Ohio Civil Rights Commission or an affidavit with the Municipal Court of the City of Zanesville, Ohio; provided that nothing herein shall prohibit a complaint to be filed with the Ohio Civil Rights Commission by private counsel of a complainant.
