The EMS Advisory Board will set policies and procedures for the EMS Department and will oversee its operations and will report to the Mayor and City Council. The current Rules for Emergency Medical Service Providers within the City of Zanesville Receiving 911 Calls (adopted May of 2016), are hereby adopted as the policies and procedures of the newly-created EMS Advisory Board, and shall remain in full force and effect until otherwise modified by said Board. Actions taken by the EMS Advisory Board shall serve only as recommendations to City Council with Council solely responsible for implementing revised policies and procedures, and changes to this Chapter 175.
