The Ohio Fire Code is hereby changed and amended in the following respects:
Article 3. General Precautions Against Fire.
Section F-315.0 Orders of Fire Chief at Fires; Compliance (Added). At all fires the Fire Chief shall give orders and adopt such measures as he shall deem necessary for the extinguishment of the fire, protection of persons and property and the preservation of order, for which purpose he shall have all the powers of a City police officer, and may arrest or cause to be arrested any person acting in a riotous or disorderly manner. He shall have power to arrest any member or employee of the Fire Department who shall refuse to obey his orders.
Section F-316.0 Key Boxes (Added).
(a) When a property is protected by an automatic alarm system, or access to or within a structure, or an area on that property, is unduly difficult because of secured openings, and where immediate access is necessary for life saving or fire fighting purposes, the fire official may require a key box to be installed in an approved location. The key box shall be a type approved by the Fire Chief.
(b) The key box shall contain:
(1) Keys to locked points of ingress whether on the interior or exterior of such buildings;
(2) Keys to locked mechanical equipment rooms;
(3) Keys to locked electrical rooms;
(4) Keys to elevator controls;
(5) Keys to other areas as directed by the fire official.
(c) All key boxes shall be approved by the Fire Chief prior to installation.

Article 27. Fireworks.
Section F-2700.0 Sale or Discharge (Added). The sale of discharge of fireworks in the City shall be governed by Chapter 1519 of the Codified Ordinances.
Article 30. Liquefied Petroleum Gases and Maintenance.
Section F-3000 Permit and Registration Required (Added). F-3000.2 Permit required. A permit shall be obtained for each installation of liquefied petroleum gas employing a container or an aggregate of interconnected containers of over 400 gallons water capacity, and for each permanent installation, irrespective of size of containers, made at buildings in which people congregate for civic, political, educational, religious, social or recreational purposes. Such buildings shall include schools, churches, hospitals, institutions, hotels and restaurants, each having a capacity of twenty or more persons.
F-3000.3 Registration required. Any installation of liquefied petroleum gas of 100 gallons of water capacity shall be registered with the Assistant Fire Chief in charge of the Fire Prevention Bureau before such installation is started.
