Any person affected by any order, notice or action of the Chief Building Official pursuant to Part Thirteen - Building Code or rule or regulation adopted pursuant thereto, may appeal to the Board of Building Appeals by filing a written request for a hearing within thirty days of the mailing date of such order or notice, or the date on which such action is taken.
