127.03 AUTHORITY TO SETTLE COMPLAINTS, SUITS AND CONTROVERSIES.
   The Law Director is hereby vested with the authority to settle, compromise or otherwise resolve or dispose of complaints, suits and controversies involving the City as a party so long as any single matter does not involve the expenditure of an amount in excess of ten thousand dollars. In all matters involving the expenditure of more than ten thousand dollars, the Law Director shall be required to obtain the prior authorization of Zanesville City Council via a resolution, to settle, compromise or otherwise resolve or dispose of said matter. The Law Director shall report all such settlements to the Mayor within ten (10) days.
