924.12 LICENSING SEWER TAPPERS AND BUILDERS.
   (a)   No person, firm or corporation shall engage in the business of sewer tapping or sewer building, or open or tap any sewer in any street, alley or public or private place within the City without first obtaining a license to engage in such business. However, the provisions of this chapter shall not apply to the regular employees of manufacturing establishments, which are subject to inspection by representatives of the state under the provisions of the Ohio Revised Code, doing sewer work on factory owned premises.
 
   (b)   Whoever desires to conduct, carry on or engage in the business of sewer tapping or sewer building shall make application to the Director. If satisfied of the competency of an applicant, the Director may issue a license authorizing the applicant to conduct, carry on or engage in the business of sewer tapping sewer and/or building.
 
   (c)   For a sewer tapper and/or sewer builder's license, the fee on original application shall be twenty-five dollars ($25.00), and on the yearly renewal thereof, the fee will be fifteen dollars ($15.00).
