753.01 CERTIFICATE OF INSURANCE REQUIRED; CONDITIONS.
   All persons, firms or corporations engaging in the business of tree trimming, tree surgery, tree removal or stump removal who desire to perform such work on trees or stumps within the bounds of any public right of way or public grounds shall, prior to commencing any such work file in the office of the Director of Public Safety a certificate of insurance evidencing public liability insurance coverage by the registrant with an insurance company authorized to do business in the State. Such policy shall provide minimum liability coverage for property damage in the amount of fifty thousand dollars ($50,000) for bodily injury (one person) in the amount of fifty thousand dollars ($50,000), and for each occurrence, in the amount of one hundred thousand dollars ($100,000). Such certificate of insurance shall show that the City is protected under such public liability and property damage insurance from personal and/or property damage due to tree work operations of a nature described herein to the same extent as is the person, firm or corporation performing such tree work.
