709.01 CARNIVALS AND CIRCUSES; LICENSE AND FEE.
   No person intending to exhibit in the City any show or performance for the purpose of receiving money or any other article of value by such exhibition, shall do so without first obtaining from the Director of Public Safety a license, for which shall be paid as follows:
For theatrical performances, five dollars ($5.00) for the first twenty-four hours, and two dollars ($2.00) for every twenty-four hours thereafter.
For a circus, carnival, menagerie or hippodrome the following fees shall be charged by the Director for a license to exhibit in the City.
For small outfits, such as travel by truck and wagon, and not by rail, the fee shall be fifty dollars ($50.00) for each twenty-four hours.
For outfits, traveling by railroad and consisting of thirty-five cars or less, the fee shall be seventy-five dollars ($75.00) for each twenty-four hours.
For larger outfits, travelling by railroad, and consisting of thirty-six cars or more, the fee shall be one hundred dollars ($100.00) for each twenty-four hours.
