541.09 POSTING OF SIGNS ON UTILITY POLES.
   (a)   No person shall post, nail, staple or otherwise attach any yard sale sign, advertisement, notice, announcement, paper or any other sign upon any utility or light pole.
   (b)   There is hereby created a rebuttable presumption that any such sign was posted by the person or organization whose name appears on the sign or by the owner, tenant or adult resident of any property whose address appears on such sign.
   (c)   This section shall not apply to the City, nor to any third-party signage approved by the Public Service Director or his designee in writing. Third-party signs may be ordered to be removed, or directly removed by the City, at any time.
   (d)   Whoever violates this section is guilty of a minor misdemeanor.
