For the purpose of this subchapter, the following definitions shall apply unless the context clearly indicates or requires a different meaning.
DEVIATING TRUCK. A truck which leaves and departs from a truck route while traveling inside the city.
TRUCK. Any motor vehicle designed or used primarily for the carrying of property other than the effects of the driver or passengers, and includes a motor vehicle to which has been added a box; platform or other equipment for such carrying and whose combined body and load weight exceeds 10,000 pounds registered gross vehicle weight.
TRUCK ROUTE. A way over certain streets, as designated herein, over and along which trucks coming into and going out of the city must operate.
