9.17.010: PURPOSE:

The fire safety (FS) overlay established by section 9.05.030, "Establishment Of Base Zoning And Overlay Districts", and chapter 9.15, "Overlay Districts", of this article 2 is created to provide greater public safety in areas prone to wildland brushfires, by establishing additional development standards for these areas.
