The County Council finds that there was established by Act No. 905 of 1976, Acts and Joint Resolutions, South Carolina General Assembly, a commission known as the Clover Medical Facility Commission. The County Council further finds that there is a need for the Clover Medical Facility Commission to be continued, and that the General Assembly has mandated the County Council to provide by ordinance for the appointment of all commissions whose appointment is not provided for by the general law or the constitution. This subchapter is intended to comply with the mandate of state law and to provide for the structure, organization, composition, powers, duties and functions of the Clover Medical Facility Commission, and to provide for other matters relating to the Clover Medical Facility Commission.
