A. Bond Required: Where the certificate of the surveyor states that all the monuments will be set on or before a specified later date, the developer shall furnish to the city a bond or an amount equal to one hundred fifty percent (150%) of the estimated cost of setting such monuments, not already set prior to recording the map, guaranteeing payment of the cost thereof.
B. Written Notice Of Completion: Within five (5) days after the final setting of all monuments has been completed by the surveyor, written notice shall be given to the city that final monuments have been set.
C. Release Of Bond: After setting the final monuments, the developer shall present to the city evidence of the same together with a request that his bond be released or that his cash deposits be returned. The city, after inspection, shall immediately thereafter release such bond or return such cash deposit to the depositor. (1973 Code § 16.12.020)
