9-3-1: STREET NUMBERING SYSTEM:

   A.   The numbering of houses on streets within the city shall proceed from a central point:

      1.   East and west, from Main Street;

      2.   North and south, from Van Ness and Broadway Streets.

   B.   Odd numbers shall be on the west and south sides of streets, and even numbers on the east and north sides of the streets. (1973 Code § 14.40.010)
