7-1-2: STREET NAMES:
   A.   Names Designated: The names of the streets and alleys of the city shall be those designated and set out on the official map of the city on file in the office of the city clerk. (1973 Code § 12.08.010)
   B.   Name Signs: The city officer in charge of streets shall put or have put in proper and conspicuous places, suitable signs with the names of streets of the city thereon. (1973 Code § 12.08.020)
