6-1-3: ENFORCEMENT:
   A.   Police Department: The officers of the police department shall enforce the provisions of this title.
   B.   Authority To Direct Traffic: Officers of the police department are authorized to direct all traffic by voice, hand or signal in conformance with traffic laws; provided, that in the event of fire or other emergency, police officers may direct traffic as conditions may require notwithstanding provisions of traffic laws. (1973 Code § 10.04.020)
