5-4-2: CITY POUND:

The chief of police shall procure an enclosure, corral, livery barn or other suitable place to be used as an impound for the safekeeping of all animals impounded. Such arrangements shall be subject to the provisions of this chapter and without cost to the city. (1973 Code § 7.04.040)
