A. Hours:
1. Hours Imposed: It is unlawful for any person under the age of eighteen (18) years to frequent the streets, alleys or other public or unoccupied grounds or public places in the city between the hours of ten o'clock (10:00) P.M. and five o'clock (5:00) A.M. Sundays through Thursday and between the hours of twelve o'clock (12:00) midnight and five o'clock (5:00) A.M. on Friday and Saturday.
2. Extension Of Curfew: The chief of police shall be empowered to extend the curfew on special occasions to such hour as shall be designated by him. Request for extension of curfew for special events shall be made, in writing, to the chief of police by the sponsors of such special event, describing the event and its purpose and duration. B. Parent Or Guardian Allowing Violation: No parent, guardian or other person having the legal care and control of any minor under the age of eighteen (18) years shall allow or permit such minor to go upon or be upon the streets, alleys or other public places or unoccupied grounds within the city unaccompanied by some adult person having the legal custody and control of such minor during the hours specified in subsection A1 of this section, unless there is a reasonable, proper and lawful necessity therefor.
