4-5-11: EXEMPTIONS:
Exemptions to the provisions of this chapter may be allowed by the city council, at their sole discretion, under the following circumstances:
   A.   Sufficient Property Area; Remote Location: There is sufficient property area or the location is so remote as to not endanger the health and safety of the residents of the city;
   B.   Temporary Storage: The installation of temporary fuel storage containers during construction of new buildings;
   C.   Emergency: The installation of emergency fuel storage containers for public services; and
   D.   Domestic Heating: Aboveground fuel storage containers meeting all requirements of the environmental protection agency having a maximum capacity of five hundred (500) U.S. gallons, and used solely for the purposes of domestic heating. (1973 Code § 8.17.110)
