§ 1042.17 PLUMBING; PERMIT REQUIRED; RETURNS.
   Where new plumbing is installed, extended, changed or attached, the plumber shall first obtain a building permit from the office of the Code Enforcement Officer. Within 24 hours after the work is completed, the plumber must make his or her return, filling in on the back of the permit, in the space provided, a list of all the fixtures installed, giving the name of the street, the house number and the name of the owner. The Division of Water and Wastewater will tap the main and furnish and install the service line complete, as provided for in § 1042.05. Plumbers will in no case be allowed to deliver their returns to the owner or occupant of the premises, but must in all cases return them directly to the Code Enforcement Officer. No other returns will be recognized or accepted.
