§ 290.02 CREDIT ON UNPAID FINES FOR TIME SERVED.
   Whenever a fine is imposed, in whole or in part, in punishment of a misdemeanor that is provided by an ordinance of the city or by a statute of the state, the Judge of the Municipal Court has the authority to order that the defendant stand committed to the Greene County Jail or the city jail until the fine is paid. Such persons so committed to jail shall receive credit upon such fine at the rate of thirty dollars ($30.00) per day or fraction of a day. If the unpaid fine is less than thirty dollars ($30.00), the person shall be imprisoned one day.
