1103.84 STORY.
   "Story" means that portion of a building, other than a cellar or basement unless otherwise considered in Section 1103.08, included between the surface of any floor and the surface of the floor next above.
   (a)   If there is no floor above it, a story shall be considered the space between the floor and the ceiling next above it.
   (b)   Where the top of the rafter or the top of the top chord of the truss at the outside face of the exterior wall is more than three (3) feet above the top of the floor/ceiling joist or the top plate of the wall on which it rests, the area under the sloping roof shall be considered a full story. The outside wall shall be required to meet the setback requirements for the next higher story.
   (c)   The exterior wall or façade of gable end walls, dormers, and similar features shall be required to meet the setbacks for the story of the floor level on which they are located.
