Any person that is going to transfer a commercial or industrial premises must file an application prior to the transfer with the Department of Engineering and Building for the purpose of setting up an inspection of the commercial and industrial premises. The fee for the application and inspection shall be $0.10 per square foot for the first floor and $0.05 per square foot for the second or each additional floor with the same occupancy. The minimum fee shall be $200.
