(A) That a certain document, one copy of which is on file in the City Clerk’s office being marked and designated as the 2015 Michigan Mechanical Code is hereby referred to, adopted by the city and made a part hereof, as if fully set out in this subchapter, pursuant to the provisions of the State Construction Code, in accordance with § 8b(6) of Public Act 230 of 1972, being M.C.L.A. § 125.1508b(6).
(B) The purpose of this code is to establish the minimum regulations governing the design, installation and construction of mechanical systems, by providing reasonable safeguards to protect the public health and safety against the hazards of inadequate, defective or unsafe mechanical systems and installations.
(C) The adoption of the 2015 Michigan Mechanical Code is done in accordance with M.C.L.A. § 117.3(k).
