§ 150.017 FLAG DESECRATION.
   (A)   The terms “flag of the United States,” “flag of the state” and “flag of the city”, as used in this section, shall include any flag, standard colors, ensign or any picture or representation thereof, made of any substance, or represented on any substance, of any size evidently purporting to be either of said flag, standard, colors or ensign of the United States of America, the state or the city or a picture or a representation thereof, upon which shall be shown the colors, the stars and stripes or seal or other representation by which the average person seeing the same without deliberation may believe the same to represent the flag, standard, colors or ensign of the United States of America, the state or the city.
   (B)   It shall be unlawful for any person knowingly to cast contempt upon any flag of the United States, flag of the state or flag of the city by publicly mutilating, defacing, defiling, burning or trampling upon such flag, or by displaying such flag on the person, or otherwise in such a manner as to cast contempt upon such flag.
   (C)   It shall be unlawful for any person knowingly to place or cause to be placed any word, figure, mark, picture, design, drawing or advertisement of any nature upon any such flag of the United States, flag of the state or flag of the city.
   (D)   It shall be unlawful for any person knowingly to expose to the public view any such flag of the United States, flag of the state or flag of the city upon which shall have been printed, painted or otherwise produced, or to which shall have been attached, appended, affixed or annexed, any word, figure, mark, picture, design, drawing or advertisement.
