(A) The police officers of the city’s Police Department shall have general control and supervision of the public and private landings along those portions of the District River lying within the jurisdiction of the city, and shall preserve order and peace at all times in and about said landings and all other areas of the Detroit River lying within the jurisdiction of the city. The police officers are authorized to board any boats or vessels moored, docked or any boats or vessels lying within the jurisdiction of the city for the purpose of enforcing the terms of this section.
(B) All ordinances of the code of ordinances of the city shall be enforceable by the city police officers when carrying out the directives of this section. All persons on the Detroit River who are within the jurisdiction of the city are subject to all of the provisions of the code of ordinances of the city.
