(A) The purpose of this chapter is to encourage security and fire alarm users, businesses or residents to maintain the operational reliability and the proper use of the alarm system by limiting unnecessary police or fire emergency responses to false alarms.
(B) This chapter: governs burglary, robbery and fire systems; establishes fees; provides for penalties for violations; and establishes a system of administration.
