§ 74.023 CERTAIN COMMERCIAL VEHICLES ON POSTED HIGHWAYS PROHIBITED.
   (A)   Local authorities with respect to highways under their jurisdiction, except state trunkline highways, by ordinance or resolution, may do any of the following:
      (1)   Prohibit the operation of trucks or other commercial vehicles on designated highways or streets;
      (2)   Impose limitations as to the weight of trucks or other commercial vehicles on designated highways or streets; and
      (3)   Provide that only certain highways or streets may be used by trucks or other commercial vehicles.
   (B)   (1)   Any prohibitions, limitations or truck route designations established under division (A) above shall be designated by appropriate signs placed on the highways or streets.
      (2)   The design and placement of the sign shall be consistent with the requirements of the Uniform Traffic Code.
