(A) It shall be the policy of the city to provide in any parking area under its jurisdiction, disabled parking spaces in numbers to conform with the requirements of § 2 of Public Act 1 of 1966, as amended, being M.C.L.A. § 125.1352 and to conform to any regulations and/or guidelines issued under that statute.
(B) Any resurfacing, repair or new construction of municipal parking areas or structures, erected subsequent to the enactment of this subchapter shall be maintained in compliance with the requirements of Michigan Building Code as they relate to disabled parking.
