Any person using any such signal, without authority of the operator of such system, for the purpose of viewing, hearing or recording any show or service, or any violation of any provision of this chapter shall be guilty of a misdemeanor punishable by a fine of not more than $500 or by imprisonment for not more than 90 days or both such fine and imprisonment. Each day of a continuing violation may be charged and punished as a separate and distinct offense.
