§ 32.053 TERM, OATH AND COMPENSATION.
   (A)   Except for their initial term of office as herein provided, the regular term of office for the commissioners provided in § 32.051(A) and (B) of this chapter shall be two years, one such term to expire each year and the regular term of office for the Commissioners provided in § 32.051(C), (D), (E) and (F) of this chapter shall be four years, one such term to expire each year.
   (B)   The initial term of office for the Commissioner provided in § 32.051(A) of this chapter shall be one year.
   (C)   The initial term of office for the Commissioner provided in § 32.051(B) of this chapter shall be two years.
   (D)   The initial term of office for the Commissioner provided in § 32.051(C) of this chapter shall be one year.
   (E)   The initial term of office for the Commissioner provided in § 32.051(D) of this chapter shall be two years.
   (F)   The initial term of office for the Commissioner provided in § 32.051(E) of this chapter shall be three years.
   (G)   The initial term of office for the Commissioner provided in § 32.051(F) of this chapter shall be four years.
   (H)   Each Commissioner shall, within ten days after his or her appointment or election, take an oath of office before the City Clerk. The Commissioners shall serve without compensation for their services as Commissioners.
