The Retirement Commission established by the aforesaid Art. 14, as amended, and now existing pursuant thereto, is hereby designated and continued as the Retirement Commission authorized and empowered to administer the retirement system established by this subchapter. The terms of office of the five-member Commission now holding office pursuant to § 295(g) of the aforesaid Art. 14, as amended, shall expire on the same dates as they would otherwise have expired. The term of office of the citizen Commissioner now holding office pursuant to § 295(f) of the aforesaid Art. 14, as amended, shall expire 10-1-1967.
