§ 31.002 OATH OF ELECTED OFFICIALS AND MEMBERS OF BOARDS AND COMMISSIONS.
   (A)   All elected officials of the city and all members of boards or commissions of the city shall take the following oath before entering upon the duties of their respective offices:
      “I do solemnly swear (or affirm), that I will support the Constitution of the United States, and the Constitution of the State of Michigan, and that I will faithfully discharge the duties of the of    [insert title of office]   for the City of Wyandotte according to the best of my abilities so help me God.”
   (B)   Such oath shall be reduced to writing and filed in the office of the City Clerk.
