8-2-2: EXCEPTIONS:
   A.   Except when prohibited pursuant to section 8-2-4 of this chapter, the prohibition in section 8-2-1 of this chapter shall not apply between the hours of one minute after twelve o'clock (12:01) P.M., and eleven o'clock (11:00) P.M. June 22 to July 3 of any year, nor shall it apply between the hours of one minute after twelve o'clock (12:01) P.M. and eleven fifty nine o'clock (11:59) P.M. July 4 of any year.
   B.   The town council, in its discretion, may from time to time establish other temporary dates and times when the prohibition in section 8-2-1 of this chapter is suspended, and during which the use of fireworks is allowed. Such additional dates and times may thereafter be established or changed by the town council, and such action shall be memorialized in the minutes of the meeting in which such action was taken, in order to become effective. Any action taken pursuant to this subsection may be later terminated pursuant to section 8-2-4 of this chapter.
   C.   The dates and times set forth in subsection A of this section may be changed by the town council, and memorialized in the minutes of the meeting in which such action was taken, in order to become effective. Any action taken pursuant to this subsection may be later terminated pursuant to section 8-2-4 of this chapter.
   D.   If any action is taken pursuant to subsection B or C of this section, a public notice of that action, reciting the dates and times during which fireworks are allowed, shall be published in a newspaper of general circulation within Wright, Wyoming, once each week for two (2) consecutive weeks.
   E.   Notwithstanding the exceptions enumerated above, it shall be a violation of this chapter for any person to use or possess any fireworks which are prohibited by any laws of the state of Wyoming or the United States Of America. (Ord. 2013-03, 5-28-2013)
