§ 152.046 WOOD TO MASONRY.
   (A)   Roof trusses, girders, and plates shall be securely anchored to solid masonry walls with not less than 1/2-inch bolts imbedded at least 18 inches in the concrete every eight feet. Hollow masonry walls shall be solidly filled with concrete in the two adjoining hollows under point of bearing. All hollow masonry walls shall have a bar running through the wall (filled as above) connecting the pile to the roof.
   (B)   Where wood partitions and masonry walls join, the stud abutting the masonry walls shall be doubled and bolted to the masonry with three 1/2-inch galvanized bolts, one to be imbedded in the tie beam, one in mid-section, and one near the base. The end of the partition plate shall also be anchored to the stud abutting the wall and to the wall plate in an approved manner. All wood abutting masonry shall be treated with .6 cca treatment.
