Framing of wood walls shall be not less than two-inch by four-inch construction 16 inches on center with single floor plate and double top plate nailed securely with not less than 16 penny hot dipped galvanized nails. Walls shall be plumb and secure before sheathing is attached. Sheathing shall be not less than 1/2-inch thickness and shall be minimum exterior grade plywood. Sheathing is to extend from bottom of the joist or sill to the top of the top plate. A through bolt is required not less than 1/2-inch diameter with 1-1/2-inch washer at heat and nut. Bolt is to extend through sill upward through top plate. Bolts shall be installed not less than two feet from each corner and middleway the structure or if deemed advisable by the Building Inspector eight feet on center. Not less than 3-1/2-inch of approved insulation material shall be installed properly in all walls. All exterior wall sheathing shall be covered with minimum 15 pounds felt.
