Upon annexation of any new areas to the town, it shall be the duty of the Building Inspector, as soon as practical after such annexation, to prepare house numbering maps for the new areas and to submit such maps to the Board of Aldermen for their approval. Upon approval, it shall be the duty of the Building Inspector to assign approved numbers to the owner and tenant of each building within the new areas.
