All operators for hire of motor boats who ply the waters of the Banks Channel adjoining the town and who, through representation or otherwise, solicit business in the town shall obtain a license from the town and shall pay therefor $12.50. The license shall cover the period between June 1 and September 30 of each year. The Mayor and Board of Aldermen reserve the right to revoke any license issued at any time for cause.
