§ 91.22 ANIMAL AS PUBLIC NUISANCE.
   (A)   It is unlawful for any person to maintain a public nuisance as defined in § 91.02 of this chapter.
   (B)   In addition to other methods of enforcement, upon receipt of a complaint being made to the Police Department or Animal Control Officer by any resident or residents that any person is maintaining a public nuisance as defined in § 91.02 of this chapter, the Animal Control Officer, Chief of Police, or his designated representative, shall investigate the matter and may notify the owner of the animal or animals in question that a complaint has been received.
   (C)   If the findings of the investigating officer indicate that the complaint is justified, then the Animal Control Officer, Chief of Police, or his designated representative shall proceed to take action as is deemed necessary to enforce this chapter.
