§ 99.21 ENFORCEMENT PROVISIONS.
   (A)   Failure to acquire a permit or notify the Public Works Department of work in the right-of-way may result in a stop work order. The stop work order shall be in writing and state the conditions under which work may be resumed.
   (B)   The violation of a stop work order issued pursuant to this division shall constitute a misdemeanor punishable under §§ 10.98 and 10.99 and may also be subject to a civil penalty in the amount of $100.00 per day for each day the violation continues. Civil penalties authorized by this section may be assessed against the user on whose behalf the work is being performed and against the contractor or subcontractor who is performing such work.
   (C)   If a user, contractor, or subcontractor has received a stop work order within the preceding three months, the user is required to post a performance bond for up to 125% of the estimated cost of the work.
   (D)   All other provisions of Chapter 10 of the Code of Ordinances apply to violations of this chapter.
