§ 71.09 BACKING A VEHICLE.

The driver of a vehicle shall not back it into any intersection or over a crosswalk and shall not in any event back a vehicle unless the movement can be made in safety. He shall have given ample warning to those who may be behind, by hand and horn or other signal.
