§ 153.16 NONCONFORMING SIGNS.
   Any sign legally existing on the effective date of this chapter which does not conform to the requirements set forth in this chapter shall become a nonconforming use. Nonconforming signs shall comply with the following requirements:
   (A)   Nonconforming signs may be repaired and maintained in their existing location, but shall not be enlarged or relocated unless done in compliance with this chapter.
   (B)   On lots which exceed the maximum sign area under § 153.20, no new signs shall be added until the lot is in compliance with § 153.20. Existing signs may be replaced and their content may be altered, but they shall not be relocated, enlarged or changed in shape until the lot is in compliance.
