Golf carts may be operated on town streets and alleys which have a posted speed limit of 30 miles per hour or less. Golf carts are prohibited from the following places:
(A) On town sidewalks, pedestrian ways, and upon the area between the sidewalk and curb line or the sidewalk and paved portion of any street or alleyway in the town, except as specifically authorized for the purpose of legally crossing the street in order to obtain immediate to an area where the golf cart is authorized to operate;
(B) On any street where operation is prohibited by a posted sign; and
(C) On the entire length of any state or federal highways located within the town, and specifically along State Road 67 and US 231; State Road 48; and State Road 157.
