The operation of a golf cart within the town is strictly prohibited unless the golf cart is operated and equipped in full compliance with this chapter and state law. Golf cart operations shall obey all applicable state and municipal traffic laws, rules and regulations, including speed limits. No owner or operation of a golf cart shall eave or allow the golf cart to remain unattended on any street, highway or alleyway while the motor is running or the starting key is in the ignition.
