1335.08 PERMIT REQUIRED.

   (a)   No person shall install, maintain, alter or repair any heating or ventilating installation as described in Section 1335.03(b) to (d) unless such person first obtains a permit from the Division, or unless the work involved is specifically exempted by this Code. However, any work hereby exempt from the permit requirements shall not be exempt from any other requirements of this Code.

   (b)   In cases of emergency, the Director may grant a temporary waiver of the above requirements to permit the immediate commencement of heating or ventilating work to alleviate a hazardous condition
